Help needed for Leinster schools XC

On Wednesday of next week, February 10th, Clonliffe will host the Leinster Schools Cross Country Championships, thanks to the co operation of Fingal County Council, in Santry Demsene.

Over 1,000 young athletes, who have battled through their Leinster Regions qualifiers will be competing. It is a big event requiring a big commitment of time already spent in the planning process, and a big commitment on the day itself.

With the numbers involved Clonliffe will need some 30 members on the day. Needless to say the usual suspects have already committed. Please if you are available give 4 hours. On course marshals needed from 11.00am, the course builders will be on site from 7.30am! First race at 12.00 with the senior boys winding up the programme at 2.20pm. It will also give you the opportunity to support our up and coming athletes as we have up to 50 young Harriers running for their schools.

So don`t be shy, full on the job training provided: please text Noel Guiden 0879599888 with your name.

Nil desperandum.
