Clonliffe athlete Hope Saunders has been named in the Irish U/18 women’s team for Saturday’ s Celtic Games which takes place in the Morton Stadium on Saturday next. Hope earns her first Irish vest and runs in the 3000 against athletes from Scotland and Wales. This is a fantastic achievement by the young harrier who continues to make great progress since joining Clonliffe as an U/15 a few years back. No doubt there will be a great contingent of her training group in Santry on Saturday to cheer one of their own on. Congratulations to Hope from the whole club.
