Cathal Doyle well and truly put his recent injury woes behind him at Hayward Field in the Oregon Relays last night (Friday 23rd). Racing over 1500 Cathal won his race in fine style in a time of 3.45.45 showing an excellent turn of speed clocking a 54 second last lap to bag his first race win on US soil.
Also yesterday Tom Pitkin was 2nd in the 400H (53.60) for Butler University at the Clark Woods Memorial Meet, a 2 day event, at the University of Louisville. After a night’s sleep Tom was back on the track for today’s 400 picking up another 2nd place in 47.88.
