Still playing catch up! Tuesday`s (17th) 61st Cork City Sports saw Brian Gregan finish 3rd in the International 400m in 46.29. Leah Moore was 2nd in section B of the 100m in 12.33.
Wednesday (18th) was the latest in the Dublin Graded Meet held in the Morton Stadium. A great win for young Liam Ashton in the open mile in 4.45.97 with Eoin McCullough 2nd in 4.53.13. Mark McDonald had a very good run in the 800A finishing 2nd in a fast 1.54.56. Andrew Jennings was 4th (1.57.06). Brian Tobin was 1st in the C race 2.02.15. John Buckley ran 2.10.49 while Philip O`Doherty ran 2.15.19. In the 100m Israel Ibeanu was 6th in 11.91 with Daniel Doran 8th (11.99). Snezana Bechtina finished in 5th in the 100 (13.16). In the throws Caoimhe Morris threw the hammer 36.61m to place 3rd and Simon Galligan threw 54.81 (5kg) while Manuel Calvo Curry threw 50.13 (6kg).
