Ian Guiden made a return to winning ways in Castleknock College this morning winning the first BHAA cross country race of the season. After a fairly relaxed opening mile lap Guiden went to the front to lead for the remainder of the 4 mile race to win in 20.22 a winning margin of just over 20 seconds. Thomas Sherlock was 8th (22.10) with Sean Doran 17th (23.03). In the women`s 2 mile Yvonne McDonagh was 42nd (16.22).
Across the Atlantic yesterday Aaron Hanlon was 114th in a top quality 8k cross country, the Wisconsin Invitational in 24.31.
