After the August Summer break the Clonliffe Grand Prix kicks back into action next Thursday night, September 12th with the club 10,000m Championships for the Bonass Trophy. Pat Bonass also sponsors the prizes in the Grand Prix that night. The race takes place at 8.00pm. Grand Prix athletes are asked to use the Clonliffe dressing rooms/showers that night as the Indoor closed at 9.00pm (do the maths!!), please also ensure that you move your car back to the Clonliffe side before 9.00pm, as the main stadium gate is locked at that time.

Next race after the 10,000 is the ever popular Walker Cup, 4 miles on the track on Tuesday 24th (note Tuesday not Thursday). After that the final 3 rounds are Saturday affairs: the 50th running of the Ahern Cup/ Club 10 Mile Championship in Malahide Castle on October 5th, the historic Horan Cup, cross country in Santry November 9th and the final round the famous Irwin Cup, in memory of 1920 Clonliffe Olympian and RAF aviator Carmichael Irwin November 30th.
