The Weekend Round Up of the Clonliffe Ladies

Ladies Captain Pamela Cooper reports: This weekend was not an overly busy one for our ladies….

Starting off on Saturday 24th November was saw 3 Clonliffe ladies race in the BHAA 6km Cross-Country race in Santry Park. This was a Male / Female combined race. Coming home first of our Ladies was Emma Cooper in 2nd position followed by Jacqui Dunphy in 10th place and finally Sinead Duffy (placing TBC) who was 1st lady in her category (0-45)

On Sunday we saw Sarah McCormack put in a fantastic performance at FairyHouse in Ratoath, Co. Meath for the 2012 Inter-Counties Cross-Country Championships. Wearing the Dublin singlet Sarah ploughed her way into 3rd position on an extremely wet & wild course behind Eva Hitchinson 1st and Lizzie Lee.This  result has secured a place on the Women’s Irish team travelling to Budapest for the European Cross-Country Championships for Sarah McCormack.

National Novice Squad Day

In preparation for the National Novice on the 9th December 2012 in Adamstown Co. Wexford there will be a squad training day on this coming Saturday 1st December. Meeting at 10am at Clonliffe Harriers Club House. This squad day is open to all not just those competing in the National Novice.
