Clonliffe duo Gary O’Hanlon and Tudor Mireca were well to the fore in this morning’s Cork Marathon, run in very hot conditions. Gary came through nicely to take 2nd place overall, behind race winner Pawel Kosek 2:28.24, in a time of 2:28.58 with Tudor hot on his heels 3rd in 2:29.01. Gary was 1st M45 and Tudor 1st M35. Yulia Tarasova had a tough day finishing 6th woman in 3:04.46.
In the half marathon Garrett Loy 1:33.53 and Tom Moran 1:49.47. In the 10K Fergal O’Shea 42.25 and Shane Caffery 44.10.
