Round 5 of the Clonliffe Grand Prix Series on Thursday takes a detour to beautiful surrounds of Malahide Castle Grounds for the McCarrick Plate.
This 2 and a half mile race, once again, and as always sponsored by Eugene McCarrick, takes the athletes on a loop around the grounds on a variety of surfaces from tarmac to trail and for the most part through the forested area. The race is an open handicap with the fastest athletes going off last. The first athlete will set off at 8.00pm sharp.
