Clonliffe`s Graham Mahon ran his final collegiate race yesterday in the US for Clarke University once again being a scorer. Graham was 32nd in the Midwest Collegiate Conference held in La Crosse, WI.
Closer to home the BHAA cross country season continued in ALSSA yesterday with the Bank of Ireland Races. There were a few club members competing (again please can someone at these races gather up results and text them to 0879599888) check www.bhaa.ie for full results it seems Clonliffe results include, women: 10th Maura Matthews, 11th Bernie Byrne. Men: 12th Tom Sherlock, 17th Sean Doran.
More overseas news: Liam Roarty, who is in college in Sunderland, was in action on the roads in Newcastle today in the colours of Sunderland Harriers in the Heaton Memorial 10k (see picture). Liam was 4th scorer for Sunderland placing a most credible 27th out of 571 starters in 35:38.
